A female pregnant elephant died 


The female elephant was abused by the locals. People even worked to feed him a pineapple full of firecrackers. This cracker exploded in his mouth. In Malappuram, North Kerala, a forest officer shared the incident on social media, after which the matter came to light.


Mohan Krishnan, who is in the rescue team, wrote on social media that the female elephant wandered out of the forest in search of food and reached the nearby village. She was roaming the streets of the village. Seeing this, some people fed him a fight of firecrackers in a pineapple. The firecrackers exploded in his mouth, which severely injured his mouth and tongue. She could not eat anything due to pain and later succumbed.


Despite this, the female elephant did not harm anyone. He did not attack anyone. She was hungry and was looking for food. Krishnan further wrote that the female elephant reached the Velliyar River in search of food where she stood. Here he also got some rest by putting his mouth in water.


After this, when the forest officers got this information, they took two elephants to remove it. The female elephant was dragged out of the water after great difficulty. But later she lost the battle of life.


An FIR has been registered in the case of the death of a pregnant female elephant. The case has been registered against unknown people.



People are expressing resentment on the social media about the whole incident. 


In my opinion government and us should do something to save these animals 


Zoo should ban in India
